Inspired by this post I happily open the rant on the 10 things that annoy me when booking (or trying) to book holidays online:
- Having to chose the *exact* destination
- Having to chose the *exact* departure and return date
- Pop Ups
- No filtering options (e.g. the possibility to filter by interests rather than price / destination)
- Too many colours, options and distracting elements
- Not being able to save a search or a quote and come back later
- Online booking sites, which pretend to be an online booking site (but in reality they send an e-mail to their staff)
- Fancy web 2.0 features such as calendar pop ups at Swiss Site
- Timed features such as pop ups which don't go away before I have spent enough time to read them
- Any site which does not provide FULL functionality for my opera browser
