Kulturprozent supports Indie Labels

At long last! Kulturprozent announced a new programme to fund independent labels who are contributing to the Swiss music scene. What essentially should be the job of Pro Helvetia or local institutions - the support of market structures within culture - is now being done by Kulturprozent. We will surely apply and see what happens. Here's the link.

Yet another Google Service: G2G Exchange

Google doesn't stop putting out new services in a pace that's stunning. Newest born is a service called "G2G Exchange", which allows GMail users to swap files, similar to services like dropload or sendit. Those services have changed the way we exchange music. I receive a lot of music from artists directly that way. It makes sending the CD with a remix someone has done obsolete and safes a lot of time. Hope the google service will run smoothly, at the moment it's bandwith exceeded... Over MoMB

The return of the moustache

This morning I sat in the train and what I had in my range of vision were three (!) men all with moustache and nobody else! First I thought about a bad joke, then I wondered why those officials get up so early. In the end I was pretty confident that this marks the start of a new (old) fashion trend: The moustache! I'll be having one soon. What about you?

A new design for autumn..

I have decided to switch the appearance a little bit and went for an image of tom's 303 and a brown, autumn like colour pallette. let me know if you like / dislike it

turkish hacker leaves trace in Swiss message boards...

My friend tom downpressor's innercity.ch forum has been hacked.. and many more. The name of the guy is IMHOT3B and he seems to be on a mission to hack as many Swiss message boards as possible... duh.. how stupid can you get? A list of hacked boards can be seen here.

Back online!

I have lived almost two weeks without internet at home due to moving houses! It wasn't actually too bad to be honest but I was glad to get the phone call this morning, that my connection is back up and running again. One of the first things I'll do is uploading new pictures to flickr.

Back around the clock

Yesterday I watched the second part of the four part documentary "Back around the clock". The documentary tells the story of 50 years rock music in Switzerland. I missed the first part but judging from what I've seen yesterday, I'll sure not miss the next two! Great footage, lots of nostalgia and long hair everywhere :) The next part runs on Sunday night so be shure to catch it! Website
